This piece stemmed from scenarios of my past. I had already written a song with the same title for my band Thracian, and ever since then, I knew I wanted to create artwork to reflect the song and how I felt. The title "Ghost of Her" is referring to a past relationship. Things were great, but like all good things in the world, it didn't last. And now I'm only left with a memory of what was and never will be. Now the girl being represented in this piece, is in no way an actual ex of mine (but she does look oddly familiar to someone I once knew), but rather, I choose a neutral host to reflect the way I feel about the events of our demise. She is surrounded by chaos, it enevelops her and begins to create decay, which eventually got the best of both of us...
