One of my closest friends, Kyle, contacted me recently and asked if I would design a logo for his new radio show, Sailing On. It will comprise of indie, punk rock and instrumental music, as well as other fun stuff. He provided me with some ideas as to what he wanted the logo to look like, such as a ship in the sea or a lighthouse, and since lightouses rule, I went that route. I knew I wanted to give the logo a weathered look, so once I had the initial design pretty much done, I proceeded to add some splatter and filters to the image to make it look more rustic and worn.
